The SANT Committee of the European Commission has recently published a draft Work Programme which, for the first time, includes a report on a European Neurological Health Strategy. This is a major milestone: the first EU-level commitment to develop a comprehensive approach to neurological conditions.

In response, the European Migraine and Headache Alliance (EMHA) developed the EU Roadmap for Migraine, based on the conclusions of a recent event at the European Parliament. The document outlines strategic recommendations to ensure migraine is meaningfully included in this upcoming strategy. MEP Margarita de la Pisa has already voiced her support and commitment to securing migraine’s place in the final Workplan.
