Parkinson’s Europe has published a joint call to action aimed at European policymakers, calling for a commitment to improving healthcare for people with Parkinson’s Disease. EFNA were proud to assist in the development of this call to action, together with AbbVie and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society.
The call to action asks policymakers to pledge to make progress in three key areas:
- Recruitment and retention of essential healthcare workforce
- Formalisation of neurodegenerative nurses in healthcare systems
- Access to innovation to optimise healthcare resources
