The European Multiple Sclerosis Platform (EMSP), together with MEP Cristian BUSOI and MEP Katerina KONECNA are pleased to invite you to the conference Can Real World Data Advance the Equity of Health Care in Europe? The event will take place in the European Parliament on 7 March, room ASP A3E2, between 11:00 – 12:30.
EMSP is organising this event as a reaction to current discussions on the importance of real world evidence data to regulators, payers, patients and other policy decision-makers in the health care field.
The event consists of two parts:
The first part will discuss the importance of early diagnosis and flexible treatment in preserving brain and spinal cord tissue early in the disease. The policy report “Brain Health: time matters in MS” will be used as starting point for the discussion. Even in the early stages of multiple sclerosis, cognition, emotional well-being, quality of life, day-to-day activities and ability to work can be markedly affected by the damage occurring in the brain and spinal cord.
The second part will bring together the voices of the patient, regulator, payer and health care provider to discuss how real world evidence data can become the co-driver of regulatory and reimbursement decisions.
