The annual congress of the European Academy of Neurology comes to Amsterdam this June. To mark the occasion, the European Federation of Neurological Associations is organising a Professionals and Public Meeting on Palliative Care.
National and International Experts will come together to explore a series of questions in relation to the palliative care of neurology patients, using examples from the fields of:
BRAIN TUMOUR, DEMENTIA , PARKINSON’S DISEASE and MOTOR NEURONE DISEASE
We are inviting patients, carers, representatives of patient organisations, health professionals, policy-makers and other interested parties to come along on the day.
WE WANT YOU TO BE PART OF THE DISCUSSION – HELPING US AND THE INVITED EXPERTS TO ANSWER QUESTIONS LIKE THESE:
· What are the palliative care needs of neurology patients?
· Do neurology patients have unique palliative care needs?
· How can palliative care be integrated into neurology practice?
· What skills do neurologists need to engage in palliative care?
· Where should future research and educations efforts be concentrated?
If you are interested in attending, learning more and sharing your expertise – please register here.
Please note, the event will take place in English. There is no cost to attend.
Attendees should assemble at the DBC banner in the main foyer of the RAI before 10am.
