For the past two years, EFNA has been running for Neurology Advocates (TINA); with the aim of ensuring that the neurology patient community is provided with the understanding, skills and tools needed to more effectively influence policy and decision-making at both the national and European levels.
Our next workshop will take place at the Champalimaud Foundation in Lisbon on April 17th and 18th and the topic will be: Value – Patient Preferences and Perspectives.
It will explore patient engagement in Health Technology Assessment across Europe, but with a focus on the most Patient Relevant Outcome Measures and how these can be better integrated and reflected in the decisions taken to reimburse new treatments.
This event will be open to neurology patient advocates from across Europe and there is no cost to participate. EFNA will provide one night’s accommodation and a travel bursary of 250euros.
Initial registrations will be limited to to two delegates per EFNA Member organisation, in order to ensure that all EFNA Members have a fair opportunity to be represented. These delegates may be drawn directly from your own organisation, or from one of your national groups. You may, therefore, wish to ask your members to let you know directly if they plan to attend, and then forward the selected participants to EFNA.
Otherwise, we will accept direct registrations on a first come, first serve basis via the following link: https://goo.gl/forms/
The full agenda can be found here, along with criteria for participation and registration details.
Note: Participants must have a working knowledge of English and an interest in the topic.
THE DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28TH.
