The European Federation of Neurological Associations (EFNA) is pleased to announce the addition of two new member organisations: Alzheimer Europe and the Epilepsy Plus Alliance. Their inclusion marks an important step forward in further strengthening EFNA’s collective voice for people living with neurological conditions across Europe.
Alzheimer Europe
Alzheimer Europe is a leading umbrella organisation representing Alzheimer’s associations from across the continent. It works to improve the lives of people living with dementia and their carers by promoting patient-centred care, advancing research, and influencing European policy. The organisation also plays a key role in raising awareness and supporting collaboration across national Alzheimer’s societies.

With the addition of these two respected organisations, EFNA’s network becomes even more diverse and representative of the neurological community. This expansion reinforces the belief that we are stronger when the neurological community comes together as a whole, enabling a more unified and impactful approach to advocacy at the European level.
EFNA looks forward to working closely with Alzheimer Europe and the Epilepsy Plus Alliance to identify synergies, share expertise, and further strengthen collective advocacy efforts- ensuring that the needs of all people living with neurological conditions remain at the forefront of European policy agendas.
