Accelerating Commitment: Enhancing Parkinson’s Care Across Europe

On Monday, 23 June, in Helsinki, Finland, EFNA joined with Parkinsons Europe and Abbvie to host a roundtable discussion bringing together healthcare professionals, policymakers, patient advocates, and key opinion leaders to explore practical and policy-oriented solutions to improve care for people living with Parkinson’s across Europe. The event was supported by MEP Jarubas (EPP, Chair of the European Parliament SANT Committee.
Orla Galvin, together with Cathy Molohan (past member of EFNA’s Community Advisory Board) led interactive discussions around Access to Innovation to Optimise Healthcare Resources. The event reinvigourated support across all neurology calling for action on:
- Recruitment and Retention of Healthcare Workforce
- Formalisation of Neurodegenerative Nurses into Healthcare Systems
- Access to Innovation to Optimise Healthcare Resources
