‘Making Neurology a Global Health Priority’ – advocacy workshop
Almost one year ago, the World Health Organisations [WHO] launched its new Brain Health Unit – a central place for neurology to be explicitly addressed in global public health policy circles.
Work is advancing and, at the upcoming World Health Assembly, member states will vote on a resolution on ‘Epilepsy and its Synergies with Other Neurological Disorders’.
EFNA hopes that this will be the start of a process that really kick-starts a focus on neurology and we want you to join us for a virtual workshop on November 27th to:
❑ Learn about the latest data on neurology and neurological care during the Covid-19 pandemic
❑ Hear updates on the outcomes of the World Health Assembly, provide your feedback and shape the next steps for neurology
❑ Explore strategic linkages with other portfolios e.g. Non-Communicable Diseases
❑ Create alignment across the community and consider how this global work can add value to what you do!
SAVE THE DATE AND JOIN US THEN!
