NeuroPozytywni

NeuroPozytywni was established in 2012 by Ms. Iza Czarnecka-Walicka, a disabled person who has been a long-time advocate for people with neurodegenerative diseases.

Its mission is to improve the quality of life of people with brain diseases so that they can function as full members of the society. NeuroPozytywni not only advocates for and education the patients, but also wider society.

Despite its short time in operation, the foundation can boast of numerous achievements. It issues two quarterly magazines: “NeuroPozytywni”(NeuroPositives) and “Świat Mózgu”(Brain World), broadcasts radio programmes on the Internet and cooperates in organising social media campaigns e.g. “SM – Walcz o Siebie”(MS – Fight for Yourself) in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. NeuroPozytywni organises parliamentary debates and international conferences, and supports the creation of the multi-stakeholder Polish Brain Council and the development of the Brain Plan for Poland.
