COMPAR-EU project is an informal working group composed of EPF members, individual patients and also patient advocates. It is planning to expand the patient panel and diversify the group of patients and patient representatives involved.
Last year, EPF set up a patient panel for the COMPAR-EU project (more information here). It is an informal working group composed of EPF members, individual patients and also patient advocates. The group is involved into the project activities through various channels.
This year, EPF is planning several activities, including (but not limited to):
- two meetings of the patient panel (face-to-face or online);
- the production of lay summaries, focusing on what has been conducted until now within the project;
- monthly online webinars.
In the long-term, after coming up with the first draft of the COMPAR-EU IT Platform design, there will be dedicated sessions on its functionality and usability together with actual testing face-to-face meetings in late 2020 and early 2021. All these activities will bring even more of a patient focus to COMPAR-EU, and showcase the direct benefits of patient involvement.
