THIS TIME I’M VOTING

EFNA is starting a new, members-exclusive service, called ‘Policy Bites’ which will bring together policy news of significance and relevance to EFNA and its members. This month, the Policy Bites articles will be available from the EFNA.net website, giving our audience a taste of what’s to come.
From next month, however, the ezine will be delivered to our members only. You can find out more about membership here.

The European Parliament has launched its pan-European campaign to encourage citizens to participate and vote: www.thistimeimvoting.eu

As Europeans we face many challenges, from health to climate change, from youth unemployment to data privacy. We live in an ever more globalised, competitive world. At the same time, the Brexit referendum has demonstrated that the EU is not an irrevocable project. And while most of us take democracy for granted, it also seems under increasing threat, both in principle and practice.

That’s why the Parliament has started building a community of supporters to help encourage a higher voter turnout at the European elections.

To join the campaign, you could begin by signing up to the campaign by using EFNA’s organisation’s unique URL to promote the campaign any time you wish: https://www.thistimeimvoting.eu/?recruiter_id=145945

You can also find a variety of election-related material on the European Parliament download centre that you can use for your campaign. This will be updated regularly with new elements. You can find our more on our partner network who supports even our website. You can visit on the website CBD Sold Oils from the USA.

Finally, ‘What Europe Does for Me’ website was launched, providing in a one-page, open-source format, over 400 notes on citizens and social groups, from ‘Medical doctors and dentists without borders‘ to ‘Patients in rural areas’, and a further 1400 notes on EU regions and cities, to help provide information on how the EU’s work impacts our lives at a personal and local level.
